Bike and E-Bike rentals are available near the trailhead at the Kal Vida Surf Shop in Vernon; please call ahead to reserve.

Paddleboard and Kayak

5 minutes to Okanagan Lake access; 40 minutes to Kalamalka Lake access

Paddleboarding and kayaking are great ways to get out on the water and view beautiful Okanagan scenery. If you have your own gear, you can access Okanagan Lake within 5 minutes at the Evely Recreation Site  or at Killiney Beach Park. If you are looking to rent gear, Kalamalka Lake is the place to go. The Kal Vida Surf Shop in Vernon offers stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals (call ahead to reserve). For quick and easy access, launch directly across the street at Kal Beach for a paddle past waterfront homes. For a more natural setting, head to Jade Bay in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park—park at the Jade Bay lot and take a short walk down to a launch area that provides access to a pristine shoreline with scenic rock outcroppings.
